Shirdi Sai Baba- The Lord Incarnate
Shirdi Sai Baba was an Indian Saint residing in Shirdi, a town in Maharshtra state in western India. Sai Baba is Lord Incarnate. None knew about his childhood and date of birth. He came to Shridi when we was young ,around 16 years of age. Shirdi Sai Baba Appearance in Shridi – Baba came to Shridi at the age of 16. People were awestruck seeing a young child deeply meditating under the neem tree for many days. Baba stayed in Shirdi for 3 years and suddenly disappeared, after some years returned to Shirdi with Chand Patil’s marriage ceremony.
How the Saint Got the name
The fakir came back with the marriage party of Chand Patil, it alighted at foot of banyan tree near Khandoba temple. The carts loosened, people alighted one by one . Mhalsapati saw the young fakir getting down he seeked him and said “YA SAI“. Other people also started addressing as SAI and hereafter he was known as SAI BABA.
Personality and Daily Routine
He was always engrossed in self-realization and had no love for material things. His heart was clear as mirror and speech sweet as honey. He looked upon the rich and poor people as same. He always believed that Allah is the sole creator of the universe. Allah’s name was always on his tongue. Baba spoke freely to everyone and had no care for honour or dis-honour. He used to mix freely with everyone. He used to wear white turban on his head and a clean dhotar and shirt on his body.
Daily Routine of Sai Baba-
In the early days baba used to grow hair,never shaved his hair. He always used to lean against the wall in Masjid or walk sometimes towards Lendi Bagh or Chavdi. He used to carry pitchers of water and watered the plants of Jai and Jui and Marry Gold. After few years this place grew into flower garden . On this site now stands the Samadhi Mandir of Baba. Baba stood as a beggar and called out “Bhiksham Degi” at every house for food . He daily visited certain houses and went door to door. He stated practicing medicine in the village and later he became famous as a doctor. His remedies were uncommon and he never charged for his cures.
Sai Baba’s Yoga Practises
- Cleaning Process : Baba used to walk to a well near Masjid to wash his mouth and had a bath. Some people has seen him vomit his intestines , clean them and place on a tree to let it dry. Baba’s this practice of Dhaui was uncommon and extraordinary.
- Khada Yoga: In this Yoga practice he extracted various organs of the body and placed in diffrent places in the Masjid.
Sai Baba 11 Principles:
No harm shall ensue whoever steps in Shirdi
He who comes to my Tomb, his sufferings shall end
Yet I be no more in breathing, I shall ever protect devotees
Have total acceptance and your appeal shall be responded
My spirit is immortal, experience it yourself.

In whatsoever faith you worship me, I shall repay
I shall lighten your burden, my promise
Knock the door shall open and your wish will be granted
Whoever surrenders to me I shall be ever grateful
